The David Beckhams Join the TomKat Clan in an American Celebrity Tradition: The Thanksgiving Photo Op

If there ever was a rift between TomKat and the Beckhams, it seems the two power couples have put their differences behind them for a photo op the spirit of Thanksgiving. The Beckhams -- with their three young sons in tow -- have been spotted out celebrating the holiday weekend in New York City with Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and their daughter Suri. Truly, nothing brings people together like the age-old tradition of gathering with family and friends to give thanks for the day the Thetans came to America on the starship Mayflower and gave "free stress tests" to the native tribesmen. There may have been pumpkin pie and possibly giant, parade balloons of Garfield involved in that legend, too. Don't ask us; we celebrate Thanksgiving in October.

David and Victoria Beckham headed to Broadway with Cruise on Wednesday to check out Holmes' much-talked-about performance in All My Sons, reports the UK Sun. Since then, the two families have continued to bait photographers spend quality time together. Yesterday, they were photographed taking in an acrobatic spectacle at the New York Circus, says the UK's Marie Claire.

Leaving the circus, Cruise was captured by photogs having a giggle fit with daughter Suri. The Sun says it had something to do with how hilarious it was that Suri wouldn't put on her coat (yeah, hilarious like childhood pneumonia), but we're just as likely to believe Cruise started a tickle fight as soon as he glimpsed some paps. (Hey, a kid doesn't make it to the top of Forbes' Power Tot list on custom Burberry onesies alone).

According to Marie Claire, the Beckham clan appeared too cool for school (or circuses) when leaving the big-top, and failed to crack a smile as the families went off for a walk through Central Park. In Victoria's defense, she was the only member of the contempo-casual party wearing spiked Louboutin heels -- which is both 100 per cent stupid/impractical and 100 per cent awesome.

As for what else the families have in store for the holiday weekend, we're sure all we'll have to do is wait for the wire service to upload their next photo op. Will Posh and Katie share a forkful of mashed potatoes? Will Suri steal the show from Mom by appearing in the audience of her play dressed in an unbearably adorable turkey costume? Will Tom start jumping on couches because he's just so in love with those friggin' candied yams? Sit back and wait, kids. The weekend hasn't even started yet.
